Investor, founder and start-up leader. Accomplished multi-industry executive with extensive capital markets experience. Rocco has sat on numerous publicly-traded companies' boards, providing his wisdom and guidance at all stages of development.
Rocco Meliambro brings extensive investment expertise, both in public markets and private enterprises, in Canada and internationally, to his role as chair of Ethical Capital Partners.
Rocco has led ventures in the technology, cannabis, real estate and mining spaces. Over the course of his 20 years in the investment industry as a Vice President, Director and manager for several firms including Moss Lawson and Research Capital, he helped finance several startup firms including Avcorp Industries and Kinross Gold.
In 2015, Rocco founded Meta Growth which would ultimately become Canada’s largest cannabis retailer and third largest cannabis entity in Canada by revenue. He was also a member of a group that helped found Canna Royalty Inc., ultimately acquired by Cresco Labs.
Rocco has also been involved in real estate development projects that required large-scale government and public consultations, including developments such as Deer Run in Stittsville and the Lebreton Area Project.
Rocco’s financial training includes successful completion of course studies with Securities Institute at Wharton School of Business.
